# Slitherlink vs Masyu

The clearest difference is update cadence: Slitherlink at every 5 days against Masyu's fortnightly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Slitherlink sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Masyu sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Slitherlink ships an update every 5 days, Masyu fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
