# HardBlock vs Days Count

The clearest difference is update cadence: HardBlock at every 3 days against Days Count's every 3 months. HardBlock also leads on iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HardBlock sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Days Count sells 9 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

HardBlock ships an update every 3 days, Days Count every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
