# Walktide vs WE

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: Walktide at 15.0 against WE's 17.0. On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Walktide sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per year and WE sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Walktide ships an update every 5 days, WE every 3 days. Both last shipped on October 7, 2026.
