# Outperform Motion vs Astra Athletic

The clearest difference is monetization model: Outperform Motion at free against Astra Athletic's freemium. Outperform Motion also leads on ratings volume (11 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Outperform Motion sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $29.99 per month and Astra Athletic sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Outperform Motion against 5.0 for Astra Athletic. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Outperform Motion has 11 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Outperform Motion ships an update every 5 days, Astra Athletic every 4 days. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
