# WireDog VPN vs Torx VPN

The clearest difference is update cadence: WireDog VPN at every 3 weeks against Torx VPN's every 3 months. Torx VPN's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WireDog VPN sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Torx VPN sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

WireDog VPN ships an update every 3 weeks, Torx VPN every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
