# WireDog VPN vs Outpost

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: WireDog VPN at 15.0 against Outpost's 17.0. On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WireDog VPN sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Outpost sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
