# Readori vs StoryCodex

The clearest difference is ads: Readori at none against StoryCodex's shown. StoryCodex's advantage is monetization model (free vs freemium) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Readori sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per year and StoryCodex sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Readori ships an update every 3 weeks, StoryCodex weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
