# PaperDue vs Countdown

The clearest difference is update cadence: PaperDue at weekly against Countdown's every 2 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PaperDue sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Countdown sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PaperDue ships an update weekly, Countdown every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
