# Mapable vs Weekly Planner

The clearest difference is ads: Weekly Planner at none against Mapable's shown. Mapable's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 4 months) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.5). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mapable sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Weekly Planner sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Mapable ships an update every 4 days, Weekly Planner every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
