# Brushes for Procreate ™ vs Procreate Brushes · BrushKit

The clearest difference is rating: Brushes for Procreate ™ at 4.8 against Procreate Brushes · BrushKit's 4.3. Brushes for Procreate ™ also leads on ratings volume (65 vs 10) and iOS requirement (16 vs 26.0). Procreate Brushes · BrushKit's advantage is review sentiment (83% vs 50%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Brushes for Procreate ™ sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and Procreate Brushes · BrushKit sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Brushes for Procreate ™ holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Brushes for Procreate ™ has 65 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Brushes for Procreate ™'s written reviews are positive against 83% of Procreate Brushes · BrushKit's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Brushes for Procreate ™ ships an update every 2 weeks, Procreate Brushes · BrushKit fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
