# MorseKit vs MorseCAT

The clearest difference is rating: MorseKit at 4.7 against MorseCAT's 4.0. MorseKit also leads on ratings volume (126 vs 1). MorseCAT's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MorseKit sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and MorseCAT sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MorseKit holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MorseKit has 126 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

MorseKit ships an update every 8 days, MorseCAT every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 22, 2026.
