# CardGate vs Procrastination Lock

The clearest difference is ads: CardGate at none against Procrastination Lock's shown. Procrastination Lock's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 10 days). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CardGate sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Procrastination Lock sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CardGate ships an update every 10 days, Procrastination Lock every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
