# LangBook vs My Dictionary

The clearest difference is update cadence: My Dictionary at every 2 days against LangBook's weekly. LangBook's advantage is iOS requirement (17.0 vs 27.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LangBook sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and My Dictionary sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
