# Hotpot Chop vs Bison Blast

The clearest difference is ads: Bison Blast at none against Hotpot Chop's shown. Hotpot Chop's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hotpot Chop sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and Bison Blast sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Hotpot Chop ships an update every 2 weeks, Bison Blast every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
