# Step Social vs PedometerAI

The clearest difference is update cadence: PedometerAI at daily against Step Social's every 3 days. PedometerAI also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Step Social sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and PedometerAI sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
