# Basil vs Everglow

The clearest difference is update cadence: Everglow at every 2 weeks against Basil's every 5 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Basil sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Everglow sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Basil ships an update every 5 weeks, Everglow every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
