# SubLens vs CanCon

The clearest difference is update cadence: CanCon at every 6 days against SubLens's every 3 months. SubLens's advantage is iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SubLens sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and CanCon sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SubLens ships an update every 3 months, CanCon every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
