# Langur Dictionary vs Prova

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Langur Dictionary at none against Prova's 4. Prova's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs fortnightly) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Prova sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Langur Dictionary asks for nothing beyond the download.

Langur Dictionary ships an update fortnightly, Prova every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
