# Chip vs Rise+

The clearest difference is device support: Rise+ at 3 against Chip's 1. Rise+ also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Chip sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and Rise+ sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
