# AerisLog vs Pilot

The clearest difference is update cadence: Pilot at every 4 days against AerisLog's fortnightly. AerisLog's advantage is iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AerisLog sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and Pilot sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AerisLog ships an update fortnightly, Pilot every 4 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
