# Tagback vs PathShot

The clearest difference is update cadence: PathShot at every 3 days against Tagback's every 10 days. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tagback sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and PathShot sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tagback ships an update every 10 days, PathShot every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
