# Outrun the Dead vs ZenTick

The clearest difference is ads: ZenTick at none against Outrun the Dead's shown. Outrun the Dead's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Outrun the Dead sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and ZenTick sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Outrun the Dead ships an update fortnightly, ZenTick every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
