# Nova Drama vs PkMania

The clearest difference is ads: PkMania at none against Nova Drama's shown. PkMania also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 2 weeks). Nova Drama's advantage is ratings volume (10K vs 1) and chart position (#163 vs unranked). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Nova Drama against 5.0 for PkMania. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Nova Drama has 10K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Nova Drama ships an update every 2 weeks, PkMania every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
