# MinuteCue vs DayRings

The clearest difference is ads: DayRings at none against MinuteCue's shown. MinuteCue's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 5 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MinuteCue sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.99 per month and DayRings sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MinuteCue ships an update every 4 days, DayRings every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
