# Fuzzy's Ice Cream vs Counterwave

The clearest difference is rating: Counterwave at 5.0 against Fuzzy's Ice Cream's 3.3. Fuzzy's Ice Cream's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (7 vs 1). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fuzzy's Ice Cream sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Counterwave sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Counterwave holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fuzzy's Ice Cream has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Fuzzy's Ice Cream ships an update every 5 days, Counterwave every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
