# Nexus Now vs SEKITAN

The clearest difference is update cadence: SEKITAN at every 5 days against Nexus Now's fortnightly. Nexus Now's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs paid). On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Nexus Now sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and SEKITAN sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Nexus Now against 5.0 for SEKITAN. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1 and 1 respectively.

Nexus Now ships an update fortnightly, SEKITAN every 5 days. Both last shipped on October 28, 2026.
