# BI Data Hero vs Learn Excel

The clearest difference is update cadence: BI Data Hero at every 6 days against Learn Excel's every 3 weeks. Learn Excel's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BI Data Hero sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Learn Excel sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BI Data Hero ships an update every 6 days, Learn Excel every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
