# Idle Rune Foundry vs FruitZ Cat

The clearest difference is update cadence: FruitZ Cat at every 2 days against Idle Rune Foundry's every 2 weeks. FruitZ Cat also leads on device support and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Idle Rune Foundry sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and FruitZ Cat sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Idle Rune Foundry ships an update every 2 weeks, FruitZ Cat every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
