# ReSerch vs Whoscribe

The clearest difference is update cadence: Whoscribe at every 4 days against ReSerch's fortnightly. Whoscribe also leads on iOS requirement (16.4 vs 26.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ReSerch sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Whoscribe sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $20.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ReSerch ships an update fortnightly, Whoscribe every 4 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
