# DeepFast vs Better Fasting

The clearest difference is rating: Better Fasting at 4.0 against DeepFast's 1.0. Better Fasting also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DeepFast sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Better Fasting sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Better Fasting holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 1.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1 and 1 respectively.

DeepFast ships an update every 3 weeks, Better Fasting every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
