# Fast VPN vs Zyra VPN

The clearest difference is rating: Fast VPN at 4.4 against Zyra VPN's 3.6. Fast VPN also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). Zyra VPN's advantage is review sentiment (33% vs 0%) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fast VPN sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Zyra VPN sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Fast VPN holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 5 and 23 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of Fast VPN's written reviews are positive against 33% of Zyra VPN's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Fast VPN ships an update weekly, Zyra VPN every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on November 5, 2026.
