# Amazing Notes vs Nib

The clearest difference is update cadence: Nib at every 4 days against Amazing Notes's every 2 months. Nib also leads on device support (4 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Amazing Notes sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $15.00 per year and Nib sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Amazing Notes ships an update every 2 months, Nib every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
