# BoringNote vs WishNote

The clearest difference is update cadence: BoringNote at every 5 days against WishNote's every 2 weeks. BoringNote also leads on iOS requirement (18.6 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BoringNote sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and WishNote sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BoringNote ships an update every 5 days, WishNote every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 27, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
