# Dear World vs iFANN

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: iFANN at none against Dear World's 3. iFANN also leads on ratings volume (34 vs 2). Dear World's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, rating, review sentiment and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dear World sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. iFANN asks for nothing beyond the download.

Dear World holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iFANN has 34 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Dear World ships an update every 4 days, iFANN every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
