# Educaster vs Vangu

The clearest difference is ads: Educaster at none against Vangu's shown. Vangu's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs fortnightly) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Educaster sells 8 one-off in-app purchases and Vangu sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Educaster ships an update fortnightly, Vangu every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
