# SecondBrain vs YostNotes

The clearest difference is ads: YostNotes at none against SecondBrain's shown. SecondBrain's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 weeks) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.6). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SecondBrain sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month and YostNotes sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
