# SecondBrain vs Yoyo

The clearest difference is ads: Yoyo at none against SecondBrain's shown. SecondBrain's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 26.0). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SecondBrain sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month and Yoyo sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SecondBrain ships an update every 3 days, Yoyo every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
