# Work Calendar vs ShiftAl

The clearest difference is update cadence: ShiftAl at every 3 days against Work Calendar's every 9 days. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Work Calendar sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and ShiftAl sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Work Calendar ships an update every 9 days, ShiftAl every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
