# PromptSentry vs SecureShred

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: SecureShred at 17.0 against PromptSentry's 26.4. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PromptSentry sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and SecureShred sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
