# GogaQ vs Music Notes

The clearest difference is update cadence: Music Notes at weekly against GogaQ's fortnightly. GogaQ's advantage is iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GogaQ sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and Music Notes sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

GogaQ ships an update fortnightly, Music Notes weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
