# FlockHopper vs FlockYou

The clearest difference is update cadence: FlockYou at every 2 days against FlockHopper's every 2 months. FlockYou also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). FlockHopper's advantage is ratings volume (302 vs 2) and chart position (#74 vs unranked). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FlockHopper sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and FlockYou sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FlockYou holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FlockHopper has 302 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

FlockHopper ships an update every 2 months, FlockYou every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
