# SceneTalk Mandarin vs Polyglo

The clearest difference is ads: SceneTalk Mandarin at none against Polyglo's shown. Polyglo's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 weeks) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.6). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SceneTalk Mandarin sells 7 one-off in-app purchases and Polyglo sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SceneTalk Mandarin ships an update every 2 weeks, Polyglo every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
