# CheckInDate vs Curate Dating

The clearest difference is update cadence: CheckInDate at daily against Curate Dating's every 6 weeks. Curate Dating's advantage is ratings volume (6 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CheckInDate sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Curate Dating sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for CheckInDate against 5.0 for Curate Dating. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Curate Dating has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

CheckInDate ships an update daily, Curate Dating every 6 weeks. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
