# SkillStack vs BeatShift

The clearest difference is ads: SkillStack at none against BeatShift's shown. BeatShift's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SkillStack sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and BeatShift sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SkillStack ships an update every 3 weeks, BeatShift weekly. Both last shipped on October 1, 2026.
