# Loop Digger! vs Gem Coloring

The clearest difference is update cadence: Loop Digger! at every 3 days against Gem Coloring's every 3 weeks. Loop Digger! also leads on ratings volume (42 vs 1). Gem Coloring's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Gem Coloring holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Loop Digger! has 42 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Loop Digger! ships an update every 3 days, Gem Coloring every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
