# Kodly vs Securescan Pro

The clearest difference is update cadence: Securescan Pro at every 2 days against Kodly's every 3 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Kodly sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Securescan Pro sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Kodly ships an update every 3 months, Securescan Pro every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
