# Plivot vs IPTV Sonic

The clearest difference is update cadence: Plivot at fortnightly against IPTV Sonic's every 2 months. Plivot also leads on device support (4 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Plivot sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and IPTV Sonic sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Plivot ships an update fortnightly, IPTV Sonic every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
