# iro vs Flapstack

The clearest difference is ads: iro at none against Flapstack's shown. iro also leads on ratings volume (40 vs 3) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for iro against 5.0 for Flapstack. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iro has 40 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

iro ships an update every 4 days, Flapstack every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
