# Loop vs SoundPad

The clearest difference is ads: Loop at none against SoundPad's shown. SoundPad's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 11 days) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.6). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Loop sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and SoundPad sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Loop ships an update every 11 days, SoundPad every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
