# ThemeDay vs Scheme

The clearest difference is ads: Scheme at none against ThemeDay's shown. On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ThemeDay sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Scheme sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ThemeDay ships an update fortnightly, Scheme every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
